Venue: Erinvale Clubhouse

Time: 13:30 – 16:00       2nd t session

Facilitator: John Whittall

Lincoln Barnabas:

This session gave me the opportunity to work on my presentation skills. We were given two opportunities and were told how we could improve on the first.

In future these skills will help me to do effective presentations as a student and as a professional

Edwin Cleophas:

Presentation of speeches is not an easy task. We found that out when we all needed a second chance. The critique was a good learning curve. That helped us a lot and that is what stood out for me today.

Bronwyn de Morney:

This was the best workshop!!! It has taught me so much about my presentation skills. I enjoyed doing the presentation and the fact that we got a second chance to improve. I can apply these skills at varsity as well as in the classroom one day. I value the importance of what I learnt today.

Tiana Schultz:

This was a challenge! I enjoyed my topic. I have learnt that I say “um” a lot. I also fiddle with my fingers, so I need to be more aware of that in the future. The second time around I felt that my call to action was good and that I used this skill well. I really feel that this was a valuable and worthwhile workshop.

Thank you!
